Description
Position Overview:
The position of Photogrammetry/Orthophoto technician will be responsible for generating mapping products in a 3D environment, creating and reviewing digital imagery products and QC and management of data. Prior experience in Photogrammetric Mapping is preferred but not required; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be considered in lieu of specific experience.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Job Description:

  • Hourly position, overtime possible. Salary commensurate with experience.

  • Have basic computer competence and understand the Windows Operating system and have ability to learn new software.

  • Position will require the use of photogrammetric software; experience with Cardinal Systems VrOne/VrTwo and/or DAT/EM Summit Evolution Software is preferred.

  • CAD experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred.

  • Have a desire to work with aerial imagery datasets and be cross trained into other mapping disciplines.

  • Must be able to see in 3D stereo and have normal (corrected or uncorrected) vision in both eyes.


Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified candidate must have a valid driver's license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration.

  • Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language

  • Ability to write in English

  • Basic computer skills

    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Word documents

    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Excel documents

    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
